Eric Lefkofsky, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and co-founder of Tempus, gave an interview with the Director of Institute for Computational Health Sciences, Dr. Atul Butte. During the interview, Eric Lefkofsky stated that his intentions are to use advanced technology and the current exploration project, i.e. human genome decoding to help with cancer regimen.
Mr. Lefkofsky stated that he is seeking to focus on conflicts aimed to overcome the hindrances in cancer therapy and treatments. According to Mr. Lefkofsky, doctors are exasperated with a data deficiency for direct cancer treatments. He states that plenty of diverse methods of cancer treatment for patients exist, but they are in need of current software.
In the interview, Eric Lefkofsky was asked about his affiliation with 50 NCI cancer facilities. According to Mr. Lefkofsky, they sought out cancer and academic health centers, because they were cognizant that there would be challenges. Because, huge medical facilities have a huge research crew and superiority of operating many clinical trials, they are better able to understand the data.
In addition to being the co-founder of Tempus, Eric Lefkofskys is also the co-founder of Lightbank. Unlike Tempus which is a well-known supplier of high-tech authorized precision treatment resolution, Lightbank is an enterprise stock financing in disruptive industrialization solutions.
Along with his wife, Liz Lefkofsky, they founded the Lefkofsky Family Foundation, in 2006. The institute is a private humanitarian foundation. Eric and Liz’s intention is to strengthen the lives of the people in the districts.
Eric Lefkofsky was born on September 2, 1969, to a Jewish family. He attended Southfield-Lathrup High School and graduated in 1987. In 1991, Eric Lefkofsky graduated from the University of Michigan with honors. In 1993, he received a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School. Eric Lefkofsky is the author of Accelerated Disruption and worked at the University of Chicago as an adjunct educator. He is a spokesperson of Board of Trustees of Steppenwolf Theatre Organization in Chicago. Mr. Lefkofsky is a Trustee of the Art Institute of Chicago. Eric Lefkofsky is a Trustee of World Business Chicago, and the Lurie Children’s Hospital Chicago.
