Many refer to her as being a combination of gracefully gritty and patiently persuasive. She is renowned for bringing her unique style to any issue she lobbying. She’s been featured on several national media outlets because of her political fundraising strategies.
During her career, Andrea McWilliams has been acknowledged by and received awards and titles from dozens of organizations. The Texas Women’s Chamber of Commerce called her “distinguished, powerful, and political.” Even the Girl Scouts of Central Texas awarded McWilliams with the Woman of Distinction Award.
By the time Andrea McWilliams was 21, she was working for Public Strategies, Inc. She spent years honing her private sector grassroots skills. After the leaving the company, she decided to go out on her own. Along with her husband, Dean, she co-founded McWilliams. McWilliams quickly become a nationally distinguished governmental affairs consultant firm.
Andrea is known all over Texas. She’s been a part of the Texas community her entire life. Born and raised near the Texas Capitol, Texas is her home. She now lives in Old Enfield with her husband and three children. Andrea fights so hard for her political issues for the future of her children.
Aside from being a mother and wife, Andrea’s a well-known community volunteer. Her philanthropic endeavors always start close to home. On many occasions, too many to count, Andrea McWilliams has been named an All-Star of Austin American-Statesman Fortunate 500 list. She also serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations.
She’s represented Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and KillCancer. She’s also a chair member of Mamma Jamma Ride.
